Saw 2017 eight episode Russian Anna Karenina

with English subtitles. They showed an injured Vronsky at war in Manchuria thirty years after the death of Anna. And who was the doctor treating him? Ah, you guessed it, Anna's son! Well made but half the time was taken up by the war against Japan, so not much seen of Oblonsky, Kitty and Levin. I was put off by the non urban looks of Anna acted by Elizabeth Basanova (pardon the spelling). There is a better reviewed 1967 Russian version but no subtitles. Maybe Victor could enlighten us.
