'The Life of Chuck': Mr. King, that's a wrap!

Posted by Billy Wonka on June 14, 2025 at 22:06:14:

You are officially done-no more novels, short stories, or film rights to be sold. You are finished. The cast and crew of this film just paid you the biggest compliment by showing the world you can tell an informative, sensitive, and uplifting story without your usual tricks to scare or intimidate the audience.

"The Life of Chuck" runs backwards (on purpose) and opens with the world dying with a whimper rather than a bang. So well done! Then we meet Chuck in his final days and finally transition to the younger Chuck and the magic he learns about life.

This can't be missed as it should be King's last film (lest he release a reputation-killing stinker). Go celebrate Chuck's life and King's magic.
