Cameron slams 'Oppenheimer'

Because it doesn't address the aftermath of the "bomb" on Hiroshima. James plans to do a film memorializing all the carnage and death there.
Needless to say, Camerson seems to be conveniently forgetting the death and carnage Japan imposed on Asia in lieu of making a sweeping anti-nuke horror fest designed to raise the world (Academy) conscience to new levels.
The point here is that 'Oppenheimer' was a biopic of his personal struggles attempting to do what he could to end the war. It was not a war film, period. Now, there is heavy criticism that the film didn't go far enough and is a "moral cop-out". I disagree. It was a perfect "mission accomplished" and one of the best films ever produced.
'Oppenheimer' deserved every Oscar it got. Maybe that opinion is not shared with everyone who walks the streets of Tinseltown.
