Guilty Pleasure Zone: 'Running Man'

Posted by Billy Wonka on December 6, 2025 at 09:57:28:

This was a fun film. Glen Powell is on track to be in the next generation's A-List. He has charisma and isn't afraid to take on any role. He plays a down-and-out untermensch whose child is deathly ill and needs expensive medicine. His only answer is to compete in the Running Man concocted by the always beaming Josh Brolin. Up-and-downs with twists and turns come at supersonic speeds. No lack of action, giggles, or laughs. There's even a dollop of wokeness to expand its appeal to 360 degrees.

If you are still twirling a monocle and swilling Dom, just don't tell anybody how much you like it.
