'Solo Mio': This was THE Valentine movie . . .

Posted by Billy Wonka on February 19, 2026 at 16:44:32:

Kevin James? He is a surprise in this one. The buffonery (mostly) fell away as he played a school teacher left at the altar in Rome. His bride couldn't go through with it, so Matt, with the urging of two other couples, decided to enjoy his honeymoon package with them.

Fortunately, a local coffee shop lady picked up on Matt's predicament and began to encourage and entertain him. The story then folds into a sweet, predictable budding romance (with setbacks, of course) as the sparks begin to fly.

A warm and charming film that will delight those escaping drama and violence, as Angel Studios would have it.
