Year Of The Dog: anyone who liked Little Miss Sunshine wil love this film.

Not the Kevin Lau, but the Mike White YOTD which has just shown here at the World Cinema Club and I can't believe this isn't going to get a HUGE release.
It is right there beside Little Miss Sunshine in the dysfunctional people on the journey of life stakes. And just about as funny and real at the same time. Same gently made points about life.
A snip of dialogue...

Al: So, you ever been married?
Peggy: No. No... That I mean that I never, you know I guess I never... that... that... that never happened. But I think some people just aren't as... you know... I don't know. It's like that, I guess.

A woman has a dog that she loves. The dig dies.
This sets her off and changes her life for the better and worse. Ultimately for the better.
Totally life affirming, totally heart warming. Lots of ooooohing and ahhhhhhing. Lots.
Very moving and very funny.
It's a must see for any animal lover and anyone who doesn't see it is probably missing a great experience.
