A brilliant tour de force which actually is a view of 100 years of Soviet history through the lives of two families in a tiny town in Siberia.
Not brilliantly told, but the acting, breadth of the story, and the cinematography make for an unforgettable experience.
Not to be missed for any Russian film lovers.
