My experience, on the release date

Posted by DavidLD on December 2, 2007 at 08:33:21:

Original movie in theater. Hot bright summer day. This was in the days when you could buy a ticket to a movie, come in at the middle and stay as long as you wanted, watching the movie over and over. I arrive 15 minutes before the finish. Pitch dark in theater and I couldn't see a thing. I stopped so my eyes could adjust to find a seat. Suddenly the last aftershock took place and I happened to be standing right next to the sensurround unit. I didn't even realize it was there until it started up it was so dark in theater. No LED's lighting the floor. Those didn't show up for decades. Will never forget this..it shook me up. Was wonderful.
