"Scrooge"

Just recently a two DVD box of a remastered version of the 1951 Alistair Sim classic was released. Titled "A Christmas Carol: The Ultimate Collector's Edition", it features a complete remaster using actual film elements for the first time and using 2007 state of the art hi def techniques. Amazon's writeup indicates that both picture and sound are greatly improved. Extras, including a colorized version (not sure if it is a coloriazed version of the remaster) are included. $13.99, a bargain to be sure. Can't wait to see it.

Now if Turner would only release their four hour redo of "Greed" on DVD!
