Hmmm....Just saw The Golden Compass.....I'm not sure why....

they even bothered to list Daniel Craig in the credits.....I think his total screen time was less than 10 minutes!!!!. The film struck me as a little Star Wars...a little Raiders Of The Lost Ark....a little Chronicles Of Narnia....with NONE of the good aspects of the foregoing.....with the exception of Nicole Kidman.....is it just me or does that woman just get better looking as she ages.....every time I see her on screen....I can't take my eyes off her....not sure if they will make the sequel...but IF they do....get someone with some proven talent to direct!!!! Why they threw out a Tom Stoppard script is beyond me!!!!!!!
