finally decides he's had enough.
Richard Basehart, in a subtle performance, plays the nerdy pharmacist married to the serial- straying Audrey Totter who all but bursts out of her alluring wardrobe.
Barry Sullivan plays the detective who investigates the murder (of course there's one!) and who, like a tough-talking moth, strays perilously close to the bright flame of the femme fatale suspect.
Meanwhile, Basehart tries to begin another relationship with the divinely young and lithe Cyd Charisse but...
