The Producers -- the original with Gene Wilder and the Zero the Great, Mel Brooks' best script ever, in my opinion.
I can't think of a better acted comedy, though it is quite broad.
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World -- Stanley Kramer's farce
An absolutely outstanding cast of comedic greats, all in roles the show their talents at their zenith. Perhaps a bit too zany and quaint for today's coarser comedic tastes, but still one of the greats of this genre.
