About time German cinema came back; I was pretty impressed with Der Untergang ( tho' Bruno Ganz is Swiss )
Perhaps there is a young Kinski and Herzog out there who will collaborate to give us some brilliantly mad films
I just finished the Alexanderplatz DVD and while it takes a while to get into Biberkopfs world, and he's an antihero it takes a lot to feel any sympathy for; it's a trip that's well worth taking ( a Masterpiece )
Yes: More German cinema, please!
