...Juan Antonio Bayona. It was exec produced by Guillermo del Toro. It does have something of the flavor of GDT's The DFevil's Backbone in that it is less about gore and all about atmosphere and psychological tension. Ghost movies for smart people seems to be a Latin specialty.

GDT is a busy guy these days, what with Hellboy II coming out and preparing to move to NZ to direct The Hobbit and its sequel.
