I saw only one film in the Dome.

I am not familiar with the Aero in Santa Monica.

But, I will not forget the amazing experience I had in the Cinerama Dome. If you saw "Rollerball", you would remember how the ball would be shot into play at the base of the rink. The audio in the theater had the ball hugging the circular auditorium wall as it traveled. The effect was very special back then.
