Strange how differently we react to it

For me, it was one of the best films I've seen in a very long time. The close made sense to me, in that it's a logical extension of the ruthlessness of DDl's character. And throughout, DDL walked a fine line between charming and repulsive - you're interested in him, starting to like him, and then, more than once, he does something dreadful.
