Why bother? All of the biographic films of recent icons are failures. A well-researched

documentary with carefully chosen videos and interviews would be so much better.
For one thing, who can rival Ali for charisma? Will Smith was a 10-watt bulb trying to be a 5,000 watt floodlight.
Same for James Morrison.
Coltrane, et al.
Now, for a second-rate personality like Jake LaMotta, okay. DeNiro outshines him any old day.
