One of the best westerns produced in modern times IMO, from a great book, with a superb cast and very good production values. LD is fondly remembered by many of us who saw it on TV when it was first broadcast - it's one of the most popular mini-series ever.

Duvall and Jones had two of their best roles ever in this series. There are some flaws, of course, but nothing that should detract significantly from your enjoymnet of a fine entertainment.

Can't wait to see it on Blu!
