I started thinking about a Apocalypse Top 10 list after the Sci-Fi list.

When Worlds Collide
On the Beach
Dr. Strangelove
Planet of the Apes
12 Monkees
Children of Men
FailSafe
hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (okay, this one is tongue in cheek, but the Earth does disappear....)
Day After Tomorrow (a bit political though)
Deep Impact (best of the asteroid strike movies IMHO, the others were simply too cheesy).


"A Quiet Earth" I imagine would be on that list, but I haven't seen it yet.
