A.I. is my favorite among those listed; the film isn't actually about an apocalypse, but the irony (pay-off) of the post-apocalyptic world is dealt with near the end of the film.
How about near apocalypse (cautionary movies where the world is placed at serious risk by Man's arrogance and recklessness)?
