Alas, I don't think this great movie is on DVD yet.

At least not in the US. I believe it is only available in a Dutch R2 release, for which you'll need a region free DVD player that converts PAL>NTSC.

I don't know why, but this film seems to get overlooked within Huston's oevre, and it's purely wonderful. It's a damn crime it's not more readily available.

I hope Criterion or someone is bringing this out in a special edition for North America. This movie needs to be seen, a fine film by a great American filmmaker.
