Heat

I watched this Pacino/Deniro movie over the weekend. I'd seen it a couple of times already & still find it to be a solid flick. There are a few parts where the technical production isn't so great, although maybe it was considered SOTA at the time. One of these scenes is the one in which Pacino is talking with his girlfriend while standing on his balcony overlooking the lights of the LA night - it's so superimposed it's distracting. But, on the whole I still think it a great movie.

One thing I noticed during this viewing was that Pacino vacilated between his former style of (normal) vocal delivery & his more recent technique in which he yells nearly all his lines. I don't think it was too long after Heat that he stated delivering many of his lines in this loud fashion. It's a real shame as it gets annoying very quickly.
