I will weigh in. I liked this movie quite a bit. It is a completely nihilistic look at a poor part of southern Italy. It's all crime, from the respected members of society to the young wannabe thugs. It's very atmospheric and a look at a place I've never been. It seems extremely authentic. On the other hand, some of the 5 interlocking stories were less strong than the others, and the structure was a little bit meandering. Very much worth seeing, but if you're looking for uplift or happiness, go elsewhere.
