Aliens - although Alien does more with "less"...

...Aliens goes so far without losing its head (like Nash did in Alien) and shows how even Hollywood can get the balance between effects (budget) and talent (vision) right, and deliver a pulse pounding film as well.
I love the series (will even watch Alien Resurrection), but own the first three.
It is kind of a crossover film for me, somewhere between art and excessive production.
