Dumbdog Millionaire = way too much violence by adults against children

Posted by Richard BassNut Greene on April 14, 2009 at 08:46:57:

Watched the whole movie, so I can't rate it poor, but let's say fair.

The wifey announced immediately after the movie ended that it would win the best picture Oscar! For a rare change, the Mother-in-Law agreed with me ... but then she hasn't loved any movie since the 1950's!

I wanted to get a message to the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (through a local friend who is a friend of his wife) asking why violence against children was rewarded in Dumbdog ... while Alfred Hitchcock, the best director in the history of motion pictures, IMHO, NEVER won an Oscar for Best Director! The friend refused to deliver my message -- I guess she liked Dumbdog too!

Violence is the real pornography in this world.

Violence against women and childen is the worst violence.
