Well, I liked it a lot, (despite the other negative reviews from a couple of other posters), so take that for whatever it is worth. And all of the others leaving the theater seemed to like if very much as well. There was a bit of humor to it, most of it tongue in check, and very similar to his earlier Evil Dead films.

It was well made, had a nice scary vibe to it, and the camera work was typical Sam Raimi (i.e. good).

If you like horror films like the scream series, and 1408 and The Ring, (all of which I did), then you'll probably like it.
If you like horror films like Saw, well, maybe not. (I did not like Saw myself.)

I'd give two thumbs up.
