Oh, they could stick her in there somewhere, as some wise old sage who holds all the knowledge, and that if the smirking Young People In Charge would only listen to her the entire movie would only last 15 minutes.

But please, no more scenes of her stripping to her underwear prior to a well-deserved nights sleep after fighting off the aliens for the last 36 hours. She almost certainly is past that prime.
