At least my wife says it is, i never saw the show. I was zero yrs old when it came out :) she was about 10. She may have mixed up the clairvoyant boy with the Girl of my Dreams episode. I'd be curious to see the program but being limited to 17 episodes, I wonder if it'll ever be run on tv again or make it to video.
