technical question (youtube watching)

Posted by Wojciech on February 2, 2010 at 12:25:23:

I have to admit that I didn't investigate the subject of quality internet movie watching so I have a quick Q's. My laptop is well aged but enough for my needs except when I try to watch youtube films. It's not about the speed but picture quality which is only acceptable in small 5"x4" view screen. Full screen option sucks even in HQ mode (if available).I'm not sure if better screen would bring much improvement since my guess is, the culprit is mainly the resolution and quality of downloads and source material.(I may be well mistaken) What's your take on this issue ?(if it is an issue;)
Regards, W
