LA Times gave it a quite positive review, called it a great modern film noir- I'm paraphrasing from memory. That got me interested. New York Times A.O. Scott, whom I like a lot, said it's full of twists that are easy to foresee and becomes pointless (another paraphrase). So I will probably go, but not rush out today, as I just might have done.
