Vinci - the Polish delight

If you like crime capers, with wit and great performances, look no further than Vinci.
As I was watching it I suddenly realized why I was enjoying the film - there was no George Clooney, no Matt Damon, no Tom Cruise, no other Hollywood plastic dolls we sometimes call "stars"... none of that stupid Hollywood cliche directing, just normal human faces, gentle, subtle and tasteful directing in the best European tradition, and plot with enough twists to keep you interested. In other words - this was no Ocean 123, this was the unmistakable product of Old World school master... did I say that? Well, pun almost intended. And if you love art, that will add to the film's enjoyment.
The lead actor Robert Wieckiewicz has definite Jean Gabin quality, I will simply say that and leave it there. Keep an eye on him, he should go far.
But enough already... this is a great film, crazily entertaining and without any of that offensive Hollywood quality.
