I've always enjoyed "The Thing". A bit dark, suspenseful.
The original "Alien", maybe "Aliens" as well.
"The Great Escape"? Classic.
Enjoyed "Highlander" 20 years ago, would I now?
"Iron Man" was far better than I expected.
I always enjoy the "Bourne" movies
"Shooter" was better than I thought it would be as well

OK, some are out there, but you did want movies not everybody has seen. :)
