A l'Aventure: Call ahead and reserve confessional time . . .

Now we are getting down to mainstream French cinema. A plot so thin you wouldn't dare use it as toilet paper yet filled with beautiful young girls writhing around on each other and their lucky hypnotist.

Sandrine is tired of her fiance. He's working too hard and she's just not having orgasms like she expects. This leads to a broken engagement and a quick inheritance from her grandmother which allows her a year off for her to "discover herself". (You can hear the bras popping off, can't you?)

She moves out and meets a retired professor and cabbie (late?). They start an on-going dialogue about life that continues throughout the movie.

Sandrine soon spies Greg, a psychiatry student, in a small bistro and boldly decides to meet him. They chat and end up in Greg's sack which means she has to go tell her fiance. Ok, free at last.

Next she meets Greg with Sophie and learns that Sophie had problems with the Big O until she met Greg, hmm. They all decide to go to Sophie's friend's house for dinner. But, for an appetizer, the host puts Sophie through a little "discipline" routine with the help of Mina (designer hot body). After the hottest scene in the film they all have a big laugh and dinner as usual.

The film progresses with Greg hypnotizing all three of these lookers to experiment with their sexuality. He soon hits on a prior life event with Mina that leads to some very strange consequences that sends Sophie running on her way back to her cabbie/philosopher.

I've been knocking off Hail Mary's for a while now. The action is far more erotic than gratuitous--that's what I keep telling myself.

No car chases but a goodly amount of 20 something flesh.

Netflix at your own risk.
