Yes, it's true. Attended with the significant other (SO) and I enjoyed it far more. DiCaprio is quite good in a very predictable way. He's developed into a dependably satisfying actor who doesn't let mannerisms or quirks get in his way.
The plot's needless complexity bothered me less, perhaps because I let it "come to me" and didn't try to understand it.
There are far worse ways to spend a few hours. Still, I can't understand those that see it as anything else but much more clever than average entertainment.
It's certainly a far, far better film than the severely limited "Matrix."
