How could I forget?

The 12 year old kid (who gets picked on) is in class (1983) and they are standing reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. As soon as the say "God" a gigantic spitball zings him simultaneously on the shoulder and splatters everywhere. Very obvious the timing. Not so subliminal as to what the director was thinking. Burn him.
