Alien is a superior movie in every way to me. For sheer atmosphere and artistry, it's one of the best horror movies ever.

Ifyou're an action movie fan, I can see why you'd enjoy Aliens. I've read the arguments many times that say it's a case of a sequel bettering the original, but they're really apples and oranges. I don't much care for Aliens - it's well made but it's also got most of what I dislike about JC displayed rather prominently.
