This showed yesterday on TCM and features Walter Brennan raising a young boy out in the country who finds a dog. From 1956 it also features a young Sidney Portier, Brandon DeWilde and a small role by William Hooper.
I really enjoyed this film a lot and wonder why I never saw it before. Give it a shot if you come across it, I think you'll enjoy it.........especially if you like dogs.
