Anatomy of Hell... the film so stupid Bertocucci would be proud of it

Why him? Well, as I was watching that opus, The Dreamers kept popping up in my mind - the parallels are inescapable, except instead of an impotent old fart we now have an unattractive French woman... but apparently Hell knows no boundaries!

As far as the film itself - I think that is the first one where the genitals are given more screen time than actors' faces... this probably beats the Vagina Monologue for the simple reason here it is all real - living and breathing... and VERY close up.

Would I call it porn? I suspect about 80% of viewers would, but be it as it may, it far outreaches the former "Best Film to Show Your Visiting Mother in Law" - the infamous In the Realm of Senses. So if your MIF is still sticking around after the ITRoS, pull this one, and I can guarantee you the room will be vacant in no time at all.

In fact I can't imagine ANY woman sit through this abomination.

I will spare you the details, just take my word for it - they do represent the New Frontier... :)

Fortunately, the film is short at one hour and ten minutes... in reality it feels much longer, as you keep wishing for the end long before the best part hits you on your head.

And believe me - it WILL!

Ah... yes... the director... it is Catherine Breillat - you might remember her Fat Girl.
