"Room In Rome": Intimacy Meets Art . . . .

Posted by mr grits on March 14, 2011 at 22:36:34:

Oh yeah, this is one of those meaningful chick flicks about a straight Russian girl who gets picked up in Rome one night by a Spanish hottie. We see their intimacy develop as they reveal their real selves and secrets over the course of the evening at a chi-chi hotel in Roma.

The gorgeous Elena Anaya must have eaten nothing but grape leaves and worked out as a gymnast for a year before shooting to have that taut body that would bounce quarters off from any plane. Natasha Yarovenko is the lovely Russian who is fit in her womanly way and until this night a man's woman.

Within the first three minutes Natasha says on Elena's balconey: "Would you like to see me naked?" This means a trip to the frig for libations because it just may be a good one.

This is a beautiful film with great art direction, wonderful lighting, outstanding camera work making love to their bodies, but rife with "girl talk" most of us guys can do without. AAMOF, the film is two hours because of the girl talk but there is equal time for the gasping and frolicking that fill the film.

It might be fun to ask the S.O. if she's heard of this film before you stream it and see how long she can stay put....better yet just be selfish and enjoy it alone.

I give it four out of five bottles of hand lotion. YMMV.
