RE: Do Netflix Streaming Movies appear in as high quality

Posted by Ross on April 6, 2011 at 18:42:26:

SD quality from my system. Decent but not great visual quality on my 42in Panasonic Plasma. I put up with the quality because the convenience is nice. My wife and I watch a mix of new, classic and foreign movies so the limited choice of "current" movies is not really an issue.

I use a HP 1.6ghz duo core PC, 2gb RAM, dedicated video card with HDMI out and connect to the net through wifi.

I sometimes have buffering issues and there have been times when a movie has paused for rebuffering.

I hope that the service gets better over time.

For the record, I can get better video quality from Hulu and other sites.

Best,

Ross
