before being inducted. The Government encouraged those already in College to finish though many still volunteered.
Here you can read the student editor's essay from his yearbook. Its fascinating to read how they considered the sure prospect of going to War. Nott a hint of question or reluctance to accept the obligation. Imagine a draft today.
