"The Big Bang": The 24-Carat B Cast Colossus . . . .

Posted by mr grits on June 5, 2011 at 19:40:22:

Somebody called in all his markers to assemble Antonio Banderas, William Ficther, Thomas Kretchmann, Delroy Lindo, James van der Beek, Snoop Dog, Sam Elliot, and Bill Duke in the same Noir Fantasy SCI-FI detective flick.

Banderas is a sleezy LA gumshoe who is approached one night by a huge Russian fresh out of prison. Seems the Rooskie is looking for this gorgeous stripper who wrote him in prison swearing undying love. Now the big Russian wants to locate this beautiful vision of loveliness.

From here, Banderas narrates his story at the hands of three homicide cops who are interested in solving the multiple murders in Banderas' wake.... or is it the missing $30MM in "conflict diamonds" the Russian had?

We go along a trail from LA to New Mexico and things get tripper and tripper. Then we come down to real story: Good Particle Collider Gone Wild.

Humor, SFX, occasional purty girl, what's not to like?
