Lots of good actors, but the trailer had a real rah-rah theme: was it so overtly

melodramatic? It appeared like this was a film that after you saw the trailer, nothing much was left except the "gravy" of actually seeing the entire film. Hell, it even told the ending. What's with this Hollywood trend? Same with comedies: they show all the best gags.
