which is a series of vignettes set around different districts in Paris, if you think the Woody Allen film was self-indulgent, this is even more over-the-top; more than 20 directors involved+ mind-boggling cast including Miranda Richardson, Marianne Faithfull, Steve Buscemi, Bob Hoskins, Ben Gazzara, Gena Rowlands, Gerard Depardieu, Natalie Portman, Nick Nolte etc. etc.

Should all be a crazy mess, but actually works really well
