A very good summer film asking and answering a troubling question. No, it is NOT an action film, it is not

a explosion-a-minute thrill-a-thon. It is a thoughtful film that takes its time to develop the characters, making the apes into individuals, not 1-dimensional FX caricatures. I was very pleasantly surprised.
