"The Artist:" clever film that wore out its cleverness after about 1/2

an hour.
A silent film that screams out for a better script. The most under-written, one-dimensional film of recent memory.
Good points: no fist-fights; car-chases; Fx; torture (okay, the last hour was a bit painful).
