"C.S.A.": What if the South had won?

Some loon from the UK insisted I watch this mockumentary based on a Confederate victory at the end of the Civil War. It proposes to have been made by British television and is an accurate picture of the country's history and current political state (2004). Outside of that statement is a very comedic look at actual events re-written with a Confederate tone. The commercial breaks are absolutely tasteless but at the end of the film we are given information to show the most offensive ones are based on actual products! As part of the send-up Spike Lee is credited as co-producer. Fat chance.

There are three possible reactions to this movie: 1) Laugh and cringe, 2) Cringe and blush, 3) Fly into a rage and disconnect you NF steaming. But before you disconnect remember this was carried by IFC.

I started to embed the trailer but decided a trip to hell would be less trouble. You can sample that on YouTube.

I DO NOT recommend this film. Trite, contrived, one-note theme, and mighty offensive to most people. (Yeah, I liked it.) DO NOT waste your time.
