Surprise, surprise, Tucker and Dale Vs Evil is good!

Posted by Brian A on June 4, 2012 at 00:03:04:

Okay, so I was slumming through Netflix and Tucker and Dale Vs Evil looked mildly amusing. I like to catch a teen slasher every once and a while. Actually, it was great, mostly because of the surprise.

You have your typical good looking college age group of kids in the mountains to camp. They run across a weird looking pair of county hicks and the hijinks begin. After a series of comical deaths you have your classic mistaken accusations. You will laugh out loud when you see what happens to the sheriff. Yes, you have all your classic deaths, impaling, burning, and yes, Fargo's woodchipper, yet you will be laughing at each one.

Some of you cinema snobs may need a few brews first, but turn off the inner critic and enjoy some empty minded fun.
