It's a very good film

It's a Chandler-esque detective story with the trappings of futuristic sci-fi. I thought the original PKD novel had a more interesting design, with compelling, humanistic characters (neatly developed for androids) Harrison Ford is so stiff it's hard to get behind him. Big and splashy Hollywood productions fall in love with themselves, to the detriment of a good story telling. To me, it's little different than a movie like "Hello Dolly;" you just add hovercraft and bounty hunters, rain VFX and put Streisand in a trench coat. She could chase Yves Montand around, and ruminate the fate of mankind. :)
Still a pretty good film, no doubt.
