'The Alien Girl': Rooshan fox out-foxes the mob . . .

When a gang member is captured by the police and squeezed to rat out his boss the boss sends for his sister in Czech. A team of four thugs embark on a trip to bring back "The Alien Girl" alive at all costs to serve as hostage to keep the captured gang member silent. What ensues is a compelling film of violent misadventure, scheming, and betrayal. The cinematography is very clear and focused with a certain "hipness" to it. The leads fully develop as the story evolves and the ending is a stark reminder to avoid Eastern European gang membership. (I had been leaning that way recently.)
